Egyptian international superstar and AS Roma forward Mohamed Salah scored twice in AS Roma’s clash against Fiorentina at his team’s home grounds, Stadio Olimpico Roma, leading AS Roma to score a great 4-1 victory 1 in Round 28 of the Italian league, Serie A.

Steven El-Sharaawy opened the score sheet for the home team in the 22nd minute, following as assist from Salah, who scored the second goal from a powerful shot in the 25th minute.

Midfielder Diego Perotti then proceeded to add the third goal in 38th minute. In the 58th minute, Salah continued his tremendous form by scoring the fourth goal, while Fiorentina’s single goal came from Josip Iličić in the 45th minute from a penalty kick.

Salah’s excellent performance in the game, scoring two goals and one assist, helped AS Roma maintain its seventh straight Serie A victory. Salah, dubbed by AS Roma fans as the Talented Pharaoh, scored his 11th goal in 24 games this season with AS Roma. He also performed five assists, becoming the first African player with such a record in a single season in the Italian League.

AS Roma Head Coach Luciano Spalletti commented about the Egyptian player after the game, saying: “Salah is a great player and if he runs into space he becomes very difficult to stop, as he combines pace with technique.”

AS Roma now stands in third place with 56 points after 28 rounds, and will face Udinese at their home grounds, Stadio Friuli, for round 29 of the Serie A.
