Etisalat Misr launched the Expert Tech application operating with the IOS system, in collaboration with the IBM MobileFirst platform, with the aim of providing better remote technical support to customers.
CIO of Etislat Misr Khaled Al-Mansouri said the Expert Tech application makes it easier for technicians to obtain the necessary information to determine the reason behind a customer’s technical issues and provide an immediate solution.
The application allows access to the latest available features and capabilities for devices, information about technical failures along with the history of the problem, and locating services to discover the best way to resolve the problem. The application further allows technicians to communicate with other experts via video.
IT Infrastructure and Operations Director at Etisalat Misr Khaled Al-Kaf said they expect the new application will help reduce the rapidly growing cost of the technical support services in Etislat branches by 10%-15%.
